The herbal tradition is the oldest extant system of medicine, it is part of every country’s history and folklore and to the present day. The World Health Organisation (WHO) now estimate that 70% of world population use herbal medicine as their primary source of health care. Herbs are used to treat many diseases and disorders, they can be used safely as a medicine when prescribed by a qualified practitioner.
Our practitioner, Eibhlín O'Callaghan has been practicing as a herbalist for 9 years, using a combination of Western Herbal Tradition and Traditional Chinese Medicinal herbs, and has treated many conditions, e.g. asthma, arthritis (Osteo, Rheumatoid and Gout), allergies, skin conditions, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, digestive disorders, (such as Crohn’s disease, IBS, ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcers etc), general infections, (such as colds, influenza, sore throats, chest and ear infections, kidney infections etc.), hormonal imbalance, (e.g. menopause, irregular periods, infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome etc.), prostate problems, sleep disturbance, headaches & migraines.
